The largest Pacific Ocean has many islands and some of them support the most unique marine species.
Galápagos Island is under threat of rising sea level, and is the main concern for coastal marine communities in decline. one of the most unique marine lizard that is thriving in rising sea level and temperatures is the marine iguana.

Iguana
The marine iguana is the first species to enter the Galápagos Islands 5 millions years ago in the Largest Pacific Ocean. Moreover, there are more threats in the 21th centuries, rising temperatures and droughts that have changed the course of the Panama Canal route. Islands support most of the unique species that are not found anywhere in the world. Many islands and oceans in the tropical regions are experiencing extreme weather conditions.
