In the past century, earth /land surface has changed drastically, in just a short period of time, by extreme forces such as earthquakes, volcanic eruption, floods.  Geologic time is getting closer than expected. Increasing Carbon dioxide in nature has changed geography of landscape in desert regions, tropical regions, temperate regions, tundra regions ( most vulnerable).

Wildfires

Tundra is the most vulnerable area in the north hemisphere, because a large portion of the land surface stores permafrost .  Summer is getting hotter every year, and thawing of permafrost releases methane which is 20 times more potent than  Carbon. wildfires has increased in the tundra region, Taiga forest, and North America subtropical areas.

Seismic zones

The largest Pacific experiences the most earthquakes in the Ring of Fire.  There is greater than 1000 quakes every year in the Asian continent, in particular, more powerful in large basin and Gulf.  Eastern Pacific coastal infrastructures are completely destroyed by high magnitude earthquake, Myanmar, Indonesia, Japan.

In 2025, cooler region such as Washington state is experiencing more tremors in mountains and cascades, greater than 300 tremors detected in Mount Rainier recently.

Flood

Atlantic Ocean in chaos, the large basin of the Gulf of Mexico is suffering from severe storms and floods.  Storms are becoming more aggressive from Increasing chemical pollution ( Carbon) in Atlantic Ocean.  Rising temperatures in North Atlantic and melting glaciers bring more floods in the Atlantic and North America. Rising sea level is destroying coastal areas, and marine ecosystems.

Ice Cap Melting

North hemisphere ice cap is melting at an alarming rate, Arctic is just a desert of ice, warm currents from south Gulf is causing a domino effect in many glaciers in the Atlantic region. Polar bears have more difficulty skating on thin ice.

Land surface of our planet is rapidly changing, forests are disappearing by wildfires at a large scale.  Many salt lakes are drying up in desert regions, rivers are becoming increasingly scarce.
