Hydrological cycle

Monsoon season in India and Pakistan is from June to September, and may last longer.  Hydrological cycle varies in every region, tropical, temperate, desert, tundra.

During the monsoon season in tropical region, excess rainfall on land, and the water has to return inthe ocean in the form of runoff.  The runoff is taken in rivers which ends in ocean, and the rest of the water is absorbed in the soil and taken by trees.

Urbanization

In large cities water is not absorbed in soil, however, it stays stagnated/ polluted. In many cases, germs find more places to grow in stagnated water. It takes days to dry and clean up.

Land surface infrastructure

Land surface management is extremely important in tropical monsoon regions.  Cities and roads that block stagnated water from reaching rivers is very difficult for community at large.

Rivers in India New Delhi are: Yamuna basin, and connected to Ganges.

What’s more

Mountain ranges Himalayas glacier, brings more deluge in the region ( Pakistan and India).

River in Pakistan Muzzaffabad is Chenab River.

Kashmir and Himalayas covers both areas.
coastal monsoon tropical region and Himalayas ranges, Mangrove is extremely important during heavy rainfall monsoon. It works parallel according to physical geography and geology.
