There are many islands in the Indian Ocean Mascarene southern hemisphere. A cool tropical region,  where the purest water flowing in the  Chagos,  Reunion, Rodrigues, Mauritius, and Diego.   The largest volcanic islands in the Mascarene are Mauritius and Reunion. The largest and most active volcano in the world , Piton De La Fournaise, situated in La Reunion island.  

The Indian Ocean in the southern hemisphere is the cleanest and least polluted in the region. Sustainability is very important to keep up with clean air and water.  If La Fournaise erupts, it will become one big island, merge two islands into one.   Tropical fruit and vegetables are abundant.  Mascarene region is a great place for vacation, beaches are very clean and fresh fish is the best protein in the region. 

Infrastructure has to be carefully crafted, because Mascarene shallow water, and marine communities play an important part in this unique ecosystem. Tropical Mascarene has a rich coral reef that keeps ocean water cool. But the beaches are getting warmer from crowded buildings, the clean water is losing marine lives.
