Adaptation 

Thrive on arid land, reproduce during monsoon season ( rain season), but prolonged drought —Bobwhite / quail —- do not reproduce, as a result it is critically endangered. Noteworthy: several plant species suffer like the Bobwhite quail like Joshua, Cactus.

Mating season and feast is the same as the rain schedule every year. Their diet comprises of seeds and insects. Their ability to scratch and dig in soil allows seeds to germinate thus improving hydrological cycle in the desert / arid land.

North America—Bobwhite——- can be spotted in Baja California,  Arizona Sonoran desert.  Chuahuan  desert.  South America, Mexico desert region .  

Purpose

Fearless pollinators in the desert hot sun. Bring great prosperity to variety of cactuses in Sonoran desert and Death Valley Joshua tree.
