Winter is moving toward Southern Hemisphere, the Emperor Penguin breeding season in the coldest region of Antarctica ( -50 degrees Celsius). Prevailing wind is crucial for birds migration around the planet. La Niña still looming in the Pacific Ocean, which brings cold currents in some areas, and marine communities follow the ocean currents. Birds brain compass rely on direction of the prevailing wind.
Albatross fly/ gone in the wind to warmer temperatures, feeding ground. Albatross travel the longest distance greater than 75,000 miles 3 times a year, around the Antarctica circle. In addition, this bird breeds only on the Southern Hemisphere islands and other coastlines.
