Eel fish is found in the North Sargasso Sea, and depends largely on the buoyancy of plankton. Eel has become endangered from lack of plankton, and poor estuaries infrastructure, lack of meadows by riverside.

Eel life cycle is similar to Salmon, except their journey the way around, instead, eels spawn in the Sargasso Sea, and their larvae are carried by the Gulf Stream to estuaries on both sides of Atlantic Ocean ( North America, & Europe).

Eel favors area rich in plankton, and healthy ocean, where there are regular upwelling. Temperature, ocean currents are important for eels to thrive. Meteorology is important for ocean currents temperature and salinity.

Eel is a nutritious fish, and a delicious meal for migratory birds.
