Geologic time on land surface, temperature varies in every region,
Plants residue are fossil remains of past geological ages, Carboniferous period. Now, they are extremely important because of climatic changes. There are a few plants species that have made their way through geologic periods and now are found in California dreamin, and other part of the world, the Redwood Sequoias, fig tree, Baobab tree in the Rift Valley continent, Gingko in Asian continent.

Why certain trees species are extremely important?

Redwood is extremely important to keep snow on mountain sheets cool, tall trees have to keep the course of nature. The largest Pacific has evolved through geologic time, every year, season changes. Sequoia along Pacific coastlines has a cooling effect, and over the Sierra Nevada. Douglas fir, Eucalyptus ( in tropical regions) are tall trees that fights drought season.

Palm trees & Aloe plants in the Indian Ocean islands Archipelago ( Seychelles, Madagascar, Reunion, Rodrigues). Aloe plants adapt in semi arid area and tropical, southern latitude such as South Rift Valley, and South America.

These plants have stood long geologic period and balance temperature in every region latitude.
