Cub life journey. The wild cat family are carnivores and representas a keystone in the forest. Eventhough they are portrayed as a predator in the wildlife, they control the herbivore population in the savanna. After watching several documentaries on lions and other wild cat, the lion is considered the most socialable among all wild cat, very playful. In particular, little cubs.

What makes cub life sad & cry? Cubs are very vulnerable and gullible at very young age. The mothe lioness has a hard job to keep surveying their young ones. It not easy for a carnivore that needs to hunt in order to survive the savanna. Animals in the savanna move every season, follow the rain season along the river Nile. Water is the most valuable resource in the savanna. The muddy puddle in the middle of nowhere that the lioness discovered is a treasure, like A scientist finding. 2026 Rift Valley savanna continent was cooler than most places around the world. West Atlantic region is in 3 digits temperature higher than most places. There is ups and downs in the savanna, sometimes depending on the season every year.
Season in the Rift Valley continent changes every year, the descending dry air from the Arctic Circle changes the whole tropical Saharan desert. Animal in the Savanna uses instinct to move to greener land, herbivores follow the wind, the lion pride watchful eye take the next step. There are many factors that affect the rainy season in the Rift Valley. A regular season brings many pollinators, grass is greener, many herbivores wander, lioness has plenty to hunt and provide for the cubs.

A beautiful day , lake is overflowing, plenty to drink and many birds from North hemisphere return to the Savanna wild safari. Cubs practice their hunt on birds and little animals. But sometimes, when alone not under their mother lioness supervision, they easily get hurts ( into accident) or attack by different pride. An injured cub is left behind, while others continue the journey to greener pastures.

Cubs face many challenges, large body herbivores, journey during drought season., vultures flying over them. Whereas, Birds and herbivores can eat leaves and grass has been the most important plant in the Rift Valley savanna. Wild cat perfect camouflage is the tall grass in the savanna. Grass has been the main plant to fight drought, and baobab in the savanna.


How to maintain the Rift Valley savanna and Cubs survival?

Desert region, the Arctic Circle, and the tropical Sahara have to keep forest and pollinators in range. Decrease number of pollinators and forest increase drought in the Arctic circle, longer lasting descending dry air in the Savanna . Droughts has decreased the number of wild life in the Arctic and in the largest biodiversity Rift Valley.

Forest rangers are important in the Rift Valley continent, because it holds the highest biodiversity. Lion pride depends on green savanna, healthy hydrological cycle.
